It's Tuesday. I have decided that every Tuesday (or so...) I am going to attempt to share some TRUTH. Not that I am in the business of telling lies on my blog!
Just a story or experience from my life within the past week... to keep it real. We all have cringe worthy moments that happen to us, some more often than others. It's fun to tell the truth on ourselves and our shortcomings or forgetful scatterbrained mommy brains.
Here is my Tuesday Truth:
(copied from an email I sent to a friend)
I have to share a total awful embarrassing coupon moment today: at our 4th stop (Bug and I had already been to Safeway, Target & Albertsons) on the grocery roundup this afternoon, the checker rang up all of my stuff (a cart full of course), scanned all of my gazillion coupons and then I went to pay.... debit card not authorized. 4 people in line behind me all staring as I realize I dont have my other debit card to our primary acct (just spending acct one) and have no other way to pay. GREAT!!
Hmmm, some brainless preggo lady forgot to transfer the money for groceries over to the correct account before I left the house. Soooo.... I had to get Hubs on the phone (at work) to go online and transfer $. Of course he was driving around the base when I called and I was begging him to hurry up and get to the hospital and go online and HELP ME!! Ten minutes later he calls back, and then I have to get back in line and re-ring all of the food and re-scan all of my coupons. I think my face is still red.
Note to self: move money BEFORE you leave the house. It will be a lot less humiliating that way. Hard to get excited after that for buying $118 worth of food for $56.00.
