Break out the balloons and streamers, here it is, MY 100TH POST.
A true testament to the amount of time wasted on the internet rambling about nothing no one wants to read spent honing my creative writing skills, by using witty ancedotes and side splitting humor. Or not.
I've noticed that other bloggers use the occasion of their 100th posting to tell the blogosphere 100 random interesting facts about themselves.
I know it's more than you ever hoped to dream for. 10's of tidbits about me and the whirlwind life I lead.
(If all of this is boring to you, and seems somewhat self indulgent, please feel free to navigate to one of the other bloggers who are much more interesting and clever than I. No offense taken. Well, maybe just a little bit.)

1. my middle name is a combination of both of my parents middle names.
2. thank the Lord the result was a normal name.
3. kids in school used to call me "miller lite"
4. no one calls me that anymore.
5. i know every single line in The Sound of Music
6. in 6th grade I used to watch it everyday after school
7. as a kid I had really cool birthday parties.
8. i would get mad when other kids won the cool prizes I helped picked out for the games.
9. i was an only child. it was pretty obvious.
10. i once went to a bday party for a Vietnamese girl from school and only one other friend showed up and the whole time we were there, they never offered to give us any food.
11. there was a huge table full of food and a huge birthday cake.
12. my friend and I left hungry. it was weird.
13. i have this weird ability to sing harmony to songs i've just heard for the first time.
14. if your riding in a car with me, i think it's probably pretty annoying.
15. i always loved to sing but was too scared to join choir until i was in the 10th grade.
16. i wish i would have gotten over my fear and tried out sooner.
17. my parents used to take me backpacking, hiking, and camping out in the boonies.
18. until I was 7.
19. I haven't hiked since. I haven't missed it at ALL.
20. i'm a sucker for an accent.
21. let me clarify, some type of European accent speaking English.
22. my earliest memory is of almost drowning in a pool while my parents were swimming in another pool when I was 3.
23. my parents still don't really think this happened.
24. but it did.
25. i used to spend more time at my neighbors house than at my own.
26. my best friend had better toys. and a tv in her room. and nintendo.
27. i still like playing the mario brothers games.
28. i sang karaoke for the first time at The Bon, in "The Cube" when I was 14.
29. it was one of the most mortifying moments of my life.
30. i could eat chicken at every meal.
31. i make the best chocolate chip cookies ever.
32. if left to my own will power i can eat a whole batch in less than 3 hours.

35. i played a pregnant Mary in a Christmas play.
36. i sang a solo moments later, singing to a baby doll who was Jesus.
37. my dream growing up was to be pregnant.
38. after being pregnant i discovered I hate being pregnant.
39. i got my first stitches in my forehead when i was 7.
40. i had hit the corner of the coffee table when i tripped from spinning around and around in the living room.
41. my dad almost passed out when i got stitches, i was annoyed that he was getting all the attention.
42. again, i was an only child.
43. i was a "smoker" at the age of 13. (sorry grandma.)
44. i was too scared to inhale so I faked it.
45. my parents caught on when they found my friends lighter in my pants pocket.
46. i skipped school when i was 16 with my best friend and we drove around Seattle in her 1980 Toyota corolla all day and each smoked a pack of Newport lights.
47. and i still didnt inhale.
48. my parents just now found that out.
49. i dont smoke anymore. and the smell of cigarette smoke makes me nauseous.
50. i snuck out of the house alot when i was 13.
51. it was actually my best friends house, her mom slept really hard.
52. we used to walk around town in the middle of the night.
53. the fact that nothing happened to us and we lived to tell makes me praise God for His grace and mercy every day.
54. i once cut the cord on my parents blinds for their bay window, by using my mom's embroidery scissors, because i was bored.
55. that was obviously not a good enough reason and i still havent lived it down.
56. the day after i got my license i scraped my moms van by hitting an espresso stand.
57. i admitted it a few years ago.
58. as a teenager i was afraid of disappointing my parents, but was tired of being a "goody too shoes".
59. i became a sister when i was almost 14.
60. i swam in a glacier lake in May. The water was really cold. My dad thought I was nuts.
61. i was in love with the same boy for almost 16 years.
62. the last time we "dated" I was 14.
63. It took me 7 years to get over him.
64. i married his best friend.
65. i wish I hadn't.
66. i know a lot about pregnancy and gynecology. i love the subject matter.
67. i know that is weird.
68. i've owned 7 cars in 11 years of driving.
69. I like to change cars alot.
70. i would really like another car right now, but i cannot afford it.
71. i keep my car really messy, it doesn't bother me.
72. i know it bothers others so I clean it from time to time.
73. i hate gardening

78. my dad and I used to play ping-pong in the garage.
79. we also used to play H-O-R-S-E and Around the World on our quarter-court driveway.
80. i used to be pretty decent at basketball.

88. i weighed between 125-130 in high school and thought i was enormously fat
89. 2 kids later, 130 is now my goal weight
90. i am a major procrastinator.
91. i get annoyed when i don't have a plan for something. i am a big planner.

93. I used to have a MAJOR crush on Brad Pitt
94. but not since the Angelina Jolie thing
95. I really, really liked Mr and Mrs Smith. I own it.
96. I read 'A walk to remember' while waiting for someone at the airport.
97. it took me 45 minutes.
98. i secretly really like me some old school Madonna music.
99. I once danced on videotape to "Vogue". I was pretty good for an 11 year old.
100. I pray no one ever sees that video.
