Finally an Update!!

Our newest family member, our little Love Bug, arrived at 11:51am on September 14 after a little over 4 hours of active labor. Our plans for a homebirth were derailed when I rapidly and unexpectedly developed HELLP syndrome the evening of the 13th and went to the local hospital for lab work and evaluation. Delivery of the baby is the only way to "cure" HELLP so I elected for an induction and had him at the hospital rather than at home.

Bug weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and was 18 3/4 inches. He was born at 37 weeks 5 days and was and is perfectly wonderful and healthy!!
He is almost 4 weeks old now and the past days have flown by... my days are filled with nursing, snuggling, napping and then repeating that over and over... its wonderful!
